Important Information
Arrival & Access

The driveway connects directly to an ATV trail. Please use extra caution when entering or exiting the property, especially when backing out. ATV traffic has the right of way.

The driveway is a dirt lane and may become muddy during spring conditions. The sandy ground typically dries quickly.

Security

For everyone's safety, there is one exterior security camera monitoring the driveway. This is the only area monitored by camera.

Water

Like many cabins in the woods, the tap water is not suitable for drinking.

Fresh drinking water is provided in the kitchen water cooler. The tap water is safe for cooking, washing dishes, showering, and all other household uses.

Hot Tub

Please help us care for the cedar hot tub.

The cover should be removed by two people whenever possible.
If only one guest is staying, please open only half of the cover.
Always use the designated handles.
Do not pull on the cover flaps, as this can cause damage.
Wildlife

As this is a cabin located in the woods, you may occasionally encounter local wildlife or small critters.

To help prevent unwanted visitors, we have pet-safe bait stations placed both inside and outside the property. They are professionally maintained, and we do everything possible to keep the cabin pest-free.

Fire Pit

The fire pit is available for guest use.

Please note that it is not maintained during the winter months, and guests use it at their own discretion.

Pets

Pets are welcome with prior approval.

A $45 pet fee applies per stay. Please let us know at the time of booking if you plan to bring a pet.

Fishing & Hunting

Guests are responsible for complying with all New Brunswick fishing regulations and local hunting laws.

Failure to follow applicable regulations may result in warnings or fines. DK Properties Ltd. assumes no responsibility for guests participating in fishing or hunting activities.

Security Deposit

A $500 pre-authorization hold will be placed on the credit card used to book your stay at check-in.

This is not a charge and will be automatically released within 72 hours after checkout, provided there is no damage or violation of the house rules.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation, refunds will be processed according to the applicable cancellation policy.

For direct bookings and VRBO reservations only, any applicable credit card processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
